Minox 35 MB
I liked the Minox 35 GT-E more than I thought I would. When I found this Minox 35 MB, I figured it was a way to shoot the format again and keep marching toward my 50 cameras for the year. (Loophole? Maybe) The MB was introduced in 1986 two years before the GT-E, but the MB was the "higher end" line. The big changes are the shape is slightly different, more square around the viewfinder and the front door has a latch that locks the door closed. Also the battery and door are different.
The speed reading has moved to the top of the viewfinder and shows you more speeds than the three on the GT-E. Still an aperture priority only and a zone focus lens. Lens marked Color-Minotar f2.8 23mm.
My Take:
I still love the format of the Minox 35, just too cool and small to not cary one. This can be the camera you always have with you. I do like the GT-E style a bit more and I actually prefer the door without a catch. Just me. I shot much of this roll inside and it had some struggles with the lower light.
