Olympus 35 EC
The Olympus 35 EC was introduced in 1969. The 35 EC is a zone focused automatically controlled camera.
The Olympus 35 is a decent little camera in a small format. It does not give you much in the control. You focus by use of at ring on the lens, mine is marked in feet, or in the view finders with corresponding icons for a face, body, group or mountain.
My take:
The 35 EC is a nice small format that makes it a take anywhere camera. The rewind is a wheel on the back that saves space and gives you one less thing to get snagged on a pocket, but also lacks the tactual fell of a rewind lever. I found this one in black but it is more common in chrome. I do see more of them as parts cameras than working models. If you find a working one give it a go.
The small format and simple operation made it a great hiking companion.
