Olympus Stylus Zoom 105
The Olympus Stylus Zoom 105 was introduced in 1995. Also sold as the mju Zoom 105 it came as both a standard and a DELUXE version. This example is the non DELUXE.
The Zoom 105 is true to the mju/Stylus series. This time with a 38mm to 105mm zoom lens. The other features are basically the same as the rest of the line. It is the pop up flash type and everything that can be has been automated.
My Take:
I like the shape and size of the mju/Stylus series. This 105 was in good shape and preformed will. If you can find one they are a good pocket camera for a quick on the go shot. They are a point and shoot and that is how they are best used. I almost never use the zoom lens. If I want a different focal length, I’ll bring a different camera. I use point and shoots for the quick shot not the well thought out composition (and my photos show it). I can’t not buy one when I see it for a few $ in a charity shop. At the price (this one was US$5) how wrong can it be? Most are working but few are perfect.
Lens: 38-105 mm, f/4.5-8.9
