Minolta Hi-Matic 7sII

Minolta Hi-Matic 7sII, a small rangefinder introduced in 1977 and sold as "The small family camera versatile enough for a pro".  It is one of the compact rangefinders to remain popular with film shooters today.

The Hi-Matic 7sII is the smaller brother of the full sized Hi-Matic 7s. It offers shutter priority auto exposure and full manual control. The size is slightly smaller than the Canon Canonet QL series.  The 7sII feels great in the hand and the controls are intuitive.

My Take:

This is a great user. I am starting to like the compact rangefinder size and think the 7sII is one of the better entries this size. It is hard to find anyone with bad things to say about this camera and now I know why. I like it and enjoyed using it.

Lens: fixed Rokkor 40mm f.1.7

Film: FujiColor 100
